Hello and welcome to Kingston & District Branch of the Embroiderers' Guild!

45+ years of stitching...

We are a very friendly and lively branch, offering something for everyone. We hope you will enjoy your visit and that you will come along to one or more of our events and meet us in person.

We are busy preparing for this year's exhibition entitled, Bewitched Stitches, at Kingston Museum, 13-28 October 2017.  Look under Special Events for further details.

Making use of our exhibition theme of fairy tales and folklore, this year at National Celebration of Stitch 2017 we will be making bunting for our exhibition - a murder of Mystical Crows - and the Young Embroiderers are sewing up Crazy Cats. See poster for booking details....it will be a fun afternoon of stitch...Saturday, 12th August, 1-4pm.

Last year The Embroiderers’ Guild began a National exhibition to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Lancelot 'Capability' Brown, Landscape designer.

Our Capability Brown exhibit was displayed at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, near the National Gallery, London, in June and July.

Embroiderers' Guild National Celebration of Stitch 2016 is now on display at the Kingston Museum. We had a lovely time at Kingston Museum.  The Young Embroiderers Group also joined in and had fun making marvellous mice.
